I FINALLY HAVE A PAIR OF MIRRORED LENS SUNGLASSES.

Yes that warrants capslock because I’ve been eyeing up a pair since… Korea? April of Korea? When GENTLEMONSTER became a thing and everyone was wearing them? When I’d stop and stare at the pretty lenses in styleNANDA and all but paw at them.

#obsessed.

And NOW I HAVE MY OWN PAIR. The women’s full frame mixed material mirror sunglasses* from Firmoo.com. They’re so pretty, arrived just in time for the weather turning sunny, total score. Oh and I’m totally taking them to Rome with me for explorations over Easter Break.

I love a good pair of sunglasses, and although I’ve cycled through many styles throughout the years, I always fall back to oversized or full frame lenses. Quite recently a lot of those I’ve picked up have been cat-flicked at the corners to match my eyeliner or slightly more eye catching styles. I was so enamoured with the lenses on these Firmoo glasses – even though they’re not as fully mirrored as the GENTLEMONSTER pairs I’m lusting after – as they bring a fun edge to spring and summer outfits in a really easy way.

Firmoo’s service was also really quick and their website is easy to navigate. I love the fact that if you know your prescription you can get prescription lenses put into almost any of their frames – which is fab because I’m not always a fan of the options at the opticians.

Which totally reminds me I need to book an appointment.

You can’t with the sunglasses, which may be an issue for some people, but they have a wide array of daily frames if you’re looking for a new pair. Shipping is fast, well packaged (which is something I really look out for when posting fragile things such as eyewear), and reliable – tracking numbers are easy to follow and email notification is prompt. Ticking alll those boxes.

The parcel came with the sunglasses, a hard case – map print, totes in love – a soft case with drawstring closing, a small keyring screwdriver, and a lens cloth. It’s the first time I’ve ever had sunglasses that have come with a small screwdriver for fixing loose screws through constant wear, but that is definitely appreciated – and I can fix some old pairs I haven’t worn because of fear of breaking now!

I’ve already worn these out a few times and they’ve gone down so well. I’m so happy with these sunnies and I can’t wait for the weather to be more consistently brilliant so I can wear them more often.
