It’s a liiiiitle bit worrying how much I love the collection in H&M at the moment. As in, no fair. Please cease and desist with stocking things that I feel I need in my wardrobe. It’s painful. Up until last week I had been brilliantly good with the ‘not buying things’ thing until a little enabler in the form of Chantel / Bonnie Blondie paid a visit. And then a haul happened.
I can’t actually find this skirt on the website, but it’s a zip through front A line skirt in a more denim-like material, so it’s quite structured and keeps its shape well. I actually really love the pattern, and I didn’t have anything like this in my wardrobe before. And by that I mean pattern-wise, I do have another a-line skirt.
It’s £14.99 which I think is a fair price considering the durability. It also has a little button-close fastening at the top, and I got it in a size 6. But I’d definitely try sizes around your own if if you’re not sure, because H&M sizes are always a bit odd.
Despite the photos this actually is cropped. It was the cheapest of the bunch at £5.99, and its stupidly soft. Out of the colour ways, I really liked the grey and the blue over any of the others (which probably means I’m going to be getting the blue at some point…) as they’re brill colours to just chuck on with anything. The racer front style is a liiitle bit dangerous if you in any way have boobs and want to wear a nice bra, but the cut is nice and it doesn’t feel like you’re going to be falling out of anything. The neckline is a little higher than I was expecting/would have liked – but that’s what you get for not trying things on. In all honesty I think New Look spoiled me for high neck tops.
Finally, stripes have made it onto a hanger in my wardrobe. I really, really love this top. The neck is a little lower than the sleeveless vest, but they’re the same length, so both are cropped. This one was £7.99, so a little bit more expensive – sleeves – but it’s just as soft and a similar material. It’s super cosy to throw on with anything and I think I may have formed a terrible attachment to it. I got this in a small so it’s a little bit loose, but I prefer these sort of tops to sit like that. Means I can feel all the comfy.
If you’d like to see what Chantel got, then you can watch the video over on my youtube channel. 😀
Which item is your favourite? Do we snap or twin on anything?

I'm starting to really get in to H&M, especially their LOGG range. I have a jumper from there that is definitely going to become threadbare very soon. All these items look great: they have such a wide range of styles, it's a great place to shop.Sterling, XLeptodactylous
