Seoul Fashion Week: Street Style

Seoul has, yet again, been blessed with the weather and the lighting (it’s completely, utterly unfair that it’s only rained once and DDP is so brilliantly glorious for sun and shade).  Naturally, this means that all the transitional outfits are out as Korean spring is kind of similar to early British Summer in temperature. As long as you’re in the sun constantly and there isn’t any wind.

It’s still chilly enough to appreciate the layering though, and boy do I love taking pointers from the way Korean’s layer their patterns and prints and clashing colours – something that I wish I could do a lot better.

As with all fashion weeks I have not attended, the images are not my own – please do go and have a look at the work of the photographers I’ve included, they really are awesome,

a new discovery for me, this season, which is exciting as I really love the way she captures the ‘unposed’ moments.

Song HaeNa is practical perfection and I need this dungaree set.

angles and composition are a major feature of mad van’s work, which consists of a lot of exquisite, often solitary and subtle moments that a lot of people would overlook.

This is my friend Hannah, her instagram is @lupokku and you should totally go and follow her for fabulous outfits!

I’ve already spoken about JD’s photography and why you should follow his instagram account here, but I’d be a little silly not to include him in my SFW roundup with images like these.

So, who’s feeling way more confident to don all the dungaree anything as we head into spring? Also layering of leather and leather-look fabrics over chiffons and lace – definitely going to try that at some point. Which outfits stand out for you?

Same! I think they're such a cute piece (also totally not really glad that I invested before LFW and now they're everywhere ehehe) – and the strappy bralets over tops is definitely something i'm going to be exploring! xo

I love it so much, it's definitely the best place for me to get inspiration. I'm really, really enjoying the way they're styled at the minute! Much less 'little girl' but still with a young, playful side.xo
