It happens every year around this time. Exams feel like they’re never going to end and deadlines make that no-refined-sugar kick you’ve been on a laughable idea as you stock up on all the sweet treats the supermarkets have to offer. Sobs. Oh, and inevitably your bank account will suffer because Hey! You know what’s fun? Online shopping. (if you remember 2015, massive ASOS haul…).
So far I’ve been good. The shackles of self-restraint have only been jangled a little bit in the apparel department – I have things to be saving for, not splurging on. But boy oh boy is the list of things I love about the length of a Redwood tree. Showing you all of it would be quite a feat, tbh, so with the turning in of The Proposal, I’ll treat you all (read: me. I’ll treat me) to a look at the best of the best.

Right now I’m absolutely obsessed with pinafore dresses. I have been for a while, they’re my favourite style of dress, really, and I’m so glad they’re still knocking about. I want them all. Classic wardrobe staple, tbh. I think I’d also really like a black one, so if you know where I can get my paws on one that’d be fab!
Super comfy basic dresses are also on my radar at the minute, especially ones in versatile colours… and we all know how versatile I think grey is. The Asos victoriana piece caught my eye because of the buttons down the top, and even though I’m not the most massive fan of empire line dresses, I adore the look of this. The Glamorous dress is one of those basic things I think we all overlook, but a basic button-down dress is something that my wardrobe is actually lacking.
I’m still super in love with tennis skirts, but every once in a while you’ve gotta chuck something different out there. Cue PU textured minis and the half-pleat kilt-look skirts. Want both. Desperate need. Lust doesn’t quite cover it.
Pjs! A girl always needs cute Pj’s to lounge around her house in. And let’s face it, I’m not exactly racing out of the door any time soon what with, eh, exams and deadlines. Sad times. I love these.
Crop tops are something I never have enough of, especially punchy-patterned ones that can work with a number of things. Dizen has such a wonderful selection of stuff right now that I’m coveting half of that website tbqh. Including this necklace – which is just the right amount of edgy and delicate that I can manage. And I’m totally wanting to build up my collection of crystals.
If I showed you everything you’d probably think I have some sort of problem… which I don’t. I really don’t. Honest. But let me know which item is your favourite! I haven’t done a wishlist in a while.
Also let me know which items you’re lusting after!
♥

I need pinafore dresses because they're SO cute and just awesome looking, but I don't know if I'd end up looking like I'm trying to rock some form of lederhosen instead. Meg | A Little Twist Of…

NOOO I THINK THEY'D LOOK SUPER CUTE ON YOU. Totally not enabling. not AT ALL. They do so many different skirt styles too, now. Well, as different as you can get with skirts. So you could probably find something that really works without looking lederhosen-y :Dxo
