Ok. So. Do we remember last year when I talked about my style inspirations and slight penchant for unconventional fashion subcultures? If yes, thank you, this should come as no surprise. If not, I have an incredible soft spot for, and an increasing collection of, Lolita fashion. My wardrobe isn’t large at all, it doesn’t contain any big name brand, and I’m still learning in the Art of the Coord, but hey. Practice makes perfect and I wanted to share.

This sailor set was the first coordinate I ever bought. It’s from the website/brand FanplusFriend, which stocks a variety of Japanese fashion substyles and neo-victorian/steampunk clothes. The prices and shipping are pretty decent for a Chinese company, as well as the quality. They also do cosplay and costumes if you’re interested.
My favourite Lolita styles are sailor and classic, so you probably won’t see anything in sweet or hime, but I’ll never say never (my bank account probably will though). And although I tend to jump around the style ship in my more normal wardrobe, I think it’s far more cost effective to go for a capsule approach in Lolita. Mostly due to the cost.
Why are all my hobbies expensive. *sobs*
I know this is a little bit different, and I know my accessory game is woefully non-existent but I’m working on it.
