I do love a good, simple outfit. I think Korea sort of placed the great appreciation for clean lines and single colour outfits as a base in me, and I’ve taken that on in all of my lazy-but-want-t-have-a-decent-outfit days. All black is obviously a super chic favourite, but I definitely have a soft spot for the all white or soft pastel outfits with a grounding colour.

And by ‘grounding colour’ I mean ‘any excuse to throw on a denim jacket’.

I have so much love for this Forever21 skirt. I picked it up when I was in Korea, so the style is nearly two years old now, but I love the little lace insert detailing and the swishy, boho vibe. Circle skirts are so my jam, they go with so many things. It’s more of a cream colour than a pure white, despite being billed as such, though I’m chill with that because it adds a little bit of depth to a super pale outfit.

The cropped sweater I picked up last February, a few days before fashion week if memory serves correct, and I just adore how soft missguided jumpers are. Like, they’re really fecking soft, if you haven’t had the pleasure of picking one up yourself yet. It’s super cropped, which at first I wasn’t sure I’d like, and added to the wide neck I really wasn’t sure how I’d get on with styling it, but it’s turned into one of those pieces that I really like having in my wardrobe to throw on.

I was searching for an oversized denim jacket for what seemed like the whole of summer (lol yeah, sure, summer, what’s one of those??), and then only actually found one when I came back to uni. It’s from We Are Cow, so it’s vintage Levi’s, but I found it on the rail in the Fargate Topshop because life is like that. It’s pretty plain, and only has pockets on the chest which is annoying – I can’t do that super cool/nonchalant moody kid with hands in pockets thing, or I’d risk looking like a meerkat – but it’s quickly become one of my most worn jackets this season. I am all the happy.

Now I’m just on a patch/badge hunt to decorate it.
